CAN YOU BELIEVE that we are almost 6 weeks away from moving out to our NEW CHURCH campus. (50 Acres/ 2 miles from Dollywood) The FLOORS are going down and the TOILETS are being installed. The GRASS is on it’s way , the SPRINKLERS are going in and the PARKING LOT is going to be put down by the middle of March. The Gathering will also be fully capable of launching TELEVISION.

A Big WOW!! We just came out of a meeting planning our LAST SERVICE in the OLE GYM on MAIN ST. You will not want to miss this HISTORIC DAY! April 5th, (4) SUNDAY ONLY SERVICES.

I have a lot of good times with Scott thru the years.

We are all praying for the Lacy family as they prepare for the funeral of their daughter Quinlan Brock Lacy. Quinlan was only 9 years old when she died on Tuesday, February 17. Todd, her father, stated “It was selfish for us to try to hold on to her.” 

Children are a precious gift from God and the Lacy’s are celebrating Quinlan’s life not her death. We join with the Lacy family in celebrating the life of Quinlan Brock Lacy. I am sure she is as much a delight to our Lord in heaven as she was to her family here on earth.

Please be in prayer for the family. The funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2oth at Covennant Bible Church in Lincolnton, NC beginning at 1:30PM.

What an amazing turn out we had for our MIGHTY MEN’S Meeting this Sunday Night. We had 175 men show up for this event that we hosted at The Gathering. Each man was invited to fill out an application to be part of a select group of MIGHTY MEN that I believe could have the potential to IMPACT the GLOBE!

In 1 Chronicles 12:22 it states; Day after day more men joined David until he had a GREAT ARMY, like the army of God.

I am looking for 70 MIGHTY MEN to walk with me over the next two – three years. Men that I can pour my life into! Men that are willing to stay the course!

This is not for the fainthearted. I am praying that 70 men will rise to the challenge and step forward to become a MIGHTY MAN of GOD.

Beginning Sunday, February 8th, my wife Karen and I will be hosting a “SNEAK PREVIEW” Luncheon each Sunday in our new church auditorium. We are literally weeks away from moving into our new facility so over the next several weeks I want to encourage our members and regular attendees to sign up for one of these Luncheons. They will be held directly following our final service on Sundays.

The carpet will be installed soon but we felt that our new auditorium should be covered first with the names of friends and loved ones that are lost and far from God. Do you know someone that is not saved? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to write their name(s) down before the carpet goes down. Our prayer is that every one of those people whose names are signed on the floor will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

What a testimony that will be for future generations!

The finishing touches are being set in place so our staff will also be taking you on a tour of the new facility. You will be able to see for yourself what an amazing building God has allowed us to worship and serve others in.

This is your church! We are not waiting for the building; the building is waiting for us. Karen and I look forward to seeing you at one of these Luncheons for our “SNEAK PREVIEW”.
