Have you ever heard a story about someone who witnessed a miracle or received one in their life?  I have!  This weekend you will hear stories about families in our church (The Gathering) who have been blessed by a miracle from God as a result of their Chest of Joash offering.  Each year this event at our church evolves into more than I could have ever imagined.  Last year we learned that Great Sacrifice gets the Attention of our God.  This weekend you will have the opportunity to hear how God honored these sacrifices and returned to these people more than they would have ever believed possible.  Not every miracle or blessing involves a monetary return.  Do you need a miracle deliverance from an addiction?  Are you struggling in a relationship with family or friends?  Do you have a child that needs God to intervene in his/her life?  Many of us have loved ones who need healing physically or emotionally.

When you come to church this weekend, ask God what your part will be in this upcoming Chest of Joash.

I know many of you still have questions about CLUB G and events surrounding the Chest of Joash.  Those questions will be addressed in this weekend’s services.  See you soon.

We all had such a wonderful time this past Sunday Night kicking off The Great Investment with Gold City and David Ring. Our church family met together at Music Road for an evening of fun and fellowship. We introduced our Club g and unveiled a picture of our “Circle of Faith” which we will begin construction on soon.

My wife Karen and I are so thankful for the blessings God has given to our family. We are honored that He has trusted us with not only two amazing sons, but with The Gathering Church family as well!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 NIV)

This is our NEW SITE PAD for our Newest Addition to the NEW CHURCH CAMPUS. When we say that we are building a New Church Campus we are doing it. I can’t wait until our ENTIRE church family can come on a weekly basis and see all the things that Chuck Laney and His Family is doing for our Church Family. Please keep telling Chuck and Rosemary thank you for all they are doing. The Word is clear to give, “HONOR to whom HONOR is DUE” and don’t forget my main man Luke Laney. We currently use our pavilion at the Old Gym continually and this one is going to be bigger and better and some surprises that Bro. Chuck I’m sure will come up with. If you look close the rafters where delivered this week and the steel will be here in the next month. We are trying our best to pull the Lord’s Child Event off at the New Property. This will be awesome before we ever worship at the NEW CAMPUS  we SERVED the POOR at the NEW CAMPUS.

God is so GOOD, GREAT, WONDERFUL and BETTER than ANYTHING we could do.

The Building is Moving So Quick. Luke Laney told me the sheet rock will go up Monday. There is so many things coming up at the Gathering, do not miss this Sunday Night with David Ring and Gold City. I am so excited to see that this time next year we will not even recognize all that God has done. Give the Church another week or two and then go drive by and it will not even look the same. Landscaping, Sound and Video and Glass and Chairs and so much is going on behind the scene. The Staff is working so hard please pat them on the back. They are the best, the very best…

Before you know it the year will be done do not sit on the sideline when so much is going on.

• Being the church means we go to church to love God and love people.

• Doing church means I go to church to sing “hymns” or “praise and worship”.
• Being the church means I go to church to love God and love people.

• Doing church means I go to church and fulfill my volunteer responsibility.
• Being the church means I go to church every Sunday, praying God will use me to to help someone new change the way they think about church.

• Doing church means we look to the Pastor to minister to us.
• Being the church means we realize we ARE a minister and that the family is supposed to minister to each other!

• Doing church means we hope we have a good service.
• Being the church means we hope God shows up and rocks our worlds!

• Doing church means that we offer lots of programs.
• Being the church means we offer lots of hope.

• Doing church means we’re glad we had a larger attendance this past week
• Being the church means we’re glad we had a big impact on our community this past week.

• Doing church means that we look to the church to meet our spiritual needs.
• Being the church means that we realize we ARE the church and we exist for the rest of the world!

May God Forgive Us at the Gathering if we are ever are ASHAMED of the CROSS. It represents the DEATH, the BURIAL & the RESSURECTION of our LORD. For those that do not remember when we buried the BIBLE in my OFFICE, the CROSS is almost directly above the WORD. I don’t believe that is an accident the Word of God is in the FOUNDATION and the CROSS is High and EXALTED.We are going to a whole nother (yes I know it’s spelled wrong) level and doing it real quick.

Karen and I are going to go to a new Church Plant in Seymour tomorrow. Called the Summitt Church, brings back alot of memories.

I have never been more in love after knowing this awesome little girl from Texas for more that 26 years. She has been the single greatest thing in my life outside the Lord. Marriage takes work please set aside time for you and your mate. We ate at Naples Italian Restaurant in Knoxville and then went shopping. I’m so thankful to God for Karen, she truly is my best friend. May God RICHLY BLESS YOU and YOUR ENTIRE HOUSE
